I like this workbook a lot, I tried taking an introduction to logic course on coursera but the professor and his notes weren't helpful. Thank you so much for the meticulous instructions.

this exhaustive reference and thorough workbook is the best so far i got from the web covering symbolic logic and proving propositional logic statements. much better than the books i can find from our school library and local bookstores! more power to you and god bless.

Thanks so much for making this available for free online!!! Although I answered "no" to basically all the introductory questions, I nonetheless passed logic with above average scores in undergrad, and now desperately need a refresher course. Your introduction makes me feel more encouraged about embarking upon this rather daunting area expertise…(my own is Comp Lit/Critical Theory). Thanks again for making this seeming possibility a plausible reality. ; )

Thank you for your thorough instructions on Logic. I'm preparing for the LSAT and this online material has allowed me to overcome my fear about the Reasoning section of the LSAT. Your site, in many ways, proves to be more valuable than any LSAT prep course and/or materials from Kaplan and/or Princeton Review.

I stumbled over this material on the WEB as a consequence of a number of incidents where people posing as educated and experienced managers in industry failed to follow the fundamentals of logic during highly important discussions that resulted in decision-making that affected the future of other people. Unfortunately and regrettably, a large percentage of decisions made by these "people" caused immeasurable harm that cannot be reversed.

I needed to read through the material to confirm that I had not lost my sanity and understanding of logical rational debate and of course sound argument.

Now that I know where the material is I will continue to refer to the WEB site so that I can improve and perhaps reinforce my understanding of logic.

Just a word of thanks and first impression.

Thank you for your generosity in posting this material.

My impression surveying the various sections is that the material is surprisingly complete and very accessible. Several ideas were obvious and intuitive from the face of the presentation. It is probably the case, and apparently the intention, that most or all of these ideas should be obvious and intuitive from the body of the presentation.
